Trey Haley Drafted by Cleveland

According to a story in The Daily Sentinel, Central Heights pitcher Trey Haley was drafted by the Cleveland Indians as the 76th pick overall. Haley still has not decided if he will sign a contract with the Indians or stay out of the majors and play ball for Rice University.

In a quote Haley stated, “As far as right now, I don’t know. Rice is a prestigious school and still one of the possibilities. It’s a long process, and it’s going to take a while.”
