When I see what our government is wasting in U.S. tax dollars, it makes no sense to me to cut any kind of medical help. I am conservative in nature, but believe that medical services should be afforded to anyone, especially the elderly, and more so the military. If we could take just one out of two dollars in wasted taxes and give them to help us folks, our medical cares would be taken care of — and then some.
If someone asks me today, “Are you proud to be an American?”, I would answer, “Not like I was twenty years ago.” I rest my faith in Jesus Christ, now. That is where my comfort lies. He is the Great Physician. <><

We sorely need to get rid of these “gated community” Republicans before they drive the quality of life for the rest of us down so far we’ll never recover. “Gated community”? Oh, by that I mean the folks whose attitude is “we already got ours, and we couldn’t care less whether you’re healthy enough or wealthy enough or young enough to get anything for yourself.” If we can’t get it, we obviously don’t deserve it, I guess.
