Eubanks sentenced to 35 years after guilty plea

Tim Eubanks pleaded guilty in District Court Friday to the 2006 murder of his wife, Tina. He was sentenced to 35 years in prison.

First I would like to start by saying Tina was a dear friend of mine. We met when we were both living in Hobbs. When she moved we remained in touch. Tina was the kind of person that would make you laugh with her stories so hard your stomach would hurt.

This excuse for a judge knows of cases where perjury and false evidence, also a falsified autopsy report was used to convict an innocent man. He does not even know what he thinks until he asks the DA and is simply a rubber stamp and does whatever he is

I can’t let this go! I want to know if the judge new about the plea deal? If not, why was this serious case settled without him. Does he have the authority to recommend or throw out a plea deal based on the welfare of the family and the general public

TxDOT official: Plans for massive TTC will likely change

In what may have been the first hint of victory for opponents of the Trans Texas Corridor, a high-ranking Texas Department of Transportation official said Thursday he regretted his agency’s communication failures and said one proposed version of the corridor, a 10-lane super highway with rail and utility pathways, will “probably not” be built in East Texas, based on the overwhelming resistance to the idea expressed at public hearings on the project this month.

Phil Mahar resigns as NISD trustee

Recalled meat to be buried in landfill

Texas Department of Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples has given Texas school districts and other entities the green light to dispose of beef that was recalled earlier this week by the U.S Department of Agriculture due to an investigation that revealed some cattle did not receive complete and proper inspection at the Chino-based Westland/Hallmark Meat Co., according to a press release issued by TDA.

NISD waiting on word from USDA on how to dispose of beef
