I have always questioned wether there are strict enough regulations for the salughter and preparation of animals. It seems that within the past 2 years, there have been more recalls by the USDA, the FDA and the EPA than there should be. Is the only way to know what you’re eating is to grow it or kill it yourself? When it comes down to trust, and knowing that our children are safe, the real question at hand is can we put our faith in the hands of the government? How can you say yes to that, when there aren’t enough people to do the job and do it right. the american people eat more beef than almost any other country in the world. We MUST know how our food is being prepared and at whose hands.
