The brave men and women of our police forces face death on a daily basis for very little pay. They don’t get enough recognition for the job that they willingly do. These peace officers never know when a supposedly mundane situation will turn life threatening. My hat’s off to them and I hold them in high esteem.

without the help of the other two deputies Stone would not have stopped the subject. The other deputy started the pursuit.

i watched the one with sgt. michael davidson. i can not believe that the criminal only received 10 years probation. i feel anyone bold enough to strike an officer should at least do time due to the fact of no telling what else they are capable of.

My hates off to all officers.. but dude you guys need to slow down out there. I followed a couple of you doing 65 in a 40 just to end up parked at Sonic. Yes you know who you 3 are. The new traffic division drives at normal speed, you guys need to learn from them. I’ll have my cam handy from now on. Maybe i can get my own TV show. Remember traffic laws apply to police units too, unless your siren or lights are on you must drive the speed limit at all times. :) keep up the great job though.

I can’t believe that people are actually stupid enough to fight with police officers. Cops carry firearms with the authorization to use deadly force when the situation calls for it. You idiots out there that are thinking about fighting a police officer instead of being arrested might want to think about twice.

You know you can all say what should have been done in this situtation but If it was your family or friends you would think different I’m not sayin what he did was right but I can say he is a great person that was goin through a lot in his life look back at what he did before all this came about. He was a well thought of person ” BY MANY”.You can only push someone so far and he was definaltly pushed to his limit. And yes the kids need to be thought of and should have from the start.I love you Honey and what ever happens I will be right beside you.

And one more thing I think the family has been through enough in the past 2 years puttin this on T.V is not goin to prove anything all it is goin to do is bring it all back to them and the kids. Becuase this is something I’m sure has scared them for life. Trust me he paided for what he did dearly. And my heart goes out to the family and kids.I pray for you all to have strength at this time.

The episode with Stone is out dated. Drop it already. If you knew the man that Stone was talkin about a few year ago you would be sayin the same thing. He was a great father and husband. Went to church and give his family everything they ever wanted and then some. Nobody is perfect, people make mistakes then you learn from them. I can understand if he was wanted on Crime Stoppers but he aint and it is over so why keep it going and put his kids through more drama. Stone think about your kids. Would you want them to go through it? I know you know him better than that.

Is Stone getting a check or something for going to Hollywood and making this chase into something? Is that the only thing he has ever done in the law enforcement? I don’t see him bragging on anything else he has done. If anything he needs to keep an eye out closer to home and investigate that. We will see if he puts that on National T.V.

well to whom it may concern!!! this is his ex-wife and NO i wasnt sleeping around. but does it really matter what happened in OUR marriage to anyone other than US! this ad has gotten way out of hand. could everyone please mind their own bussiness. i do still have children that are very upset about all of this. i cant believe people would do and say things that would hurt others. if this hurrible story is so interesting to you, please keep it to your self. or better yet go do something good for goodness sake………

i would like to know why law enforcement would want to air something that happened 2 years ago.(it not a unsolved mystery) the guy has been sentenced and did his time.so why can’t this family be allow to put this behind them {they suffered enough).i know of thing much worse than this that has happened in in this town. will they be aired on tv? or is this just bragging right for one officer and hurt for entire family, kids & all.

ok! it seems like people like to fuel any fire other than theirs. please stop with all the negative comments about victim,ex-wife, or children. as the fiance of deniese “the ex-wife” i sympathise with both parties involved. but for all you hypocrites who has never had any type of personal demons, i salute you!!!! you are increditable people…. maybe one day if the demons visit you, and your family in any form or fashion you will be strong enough to over come without public embarrasment to you and your loved ones.

I watched crisis point on TRU TV last night and i just wanted to comment on the show saying that Mr. Whittom was the town trouble maker… That is so not true because i have known him most of my life, and never has he been in trouble with the law, except when he went through a divorce.. As a matter of fact he was on the roster at a pentecostal church for many years, and a hard working dependable person. But However, i do know some stones like siblings of Joe’s that have got in trouble with the law, but have never been prosecuted for anything, just because of who he is

First I would like to say to Joe, what possessed you to even agree to make a mockery of nacogdoches by giving trutv that clip? That would not even be considered a true crisis point, that was to give you 5 minutes in the spot light. All the other officers of nacogdoches would not participate when approched by the program, they did SERVE nacogdoches. One last remark, if you like peoples dirty laudry aired so much how about this one, PROTECTING nacogdoches does not mean contributing to the delinquency of a minor (your neice at that) at a party. For the curious you can go to his neices myspace. This whole article has got way out of hand and the sheriff’s department should put a end to it!!!
