Center graduate to showcase solo exhibition
I went to high school with some truly talented artists. The one who immediately comes to my mind is a girl named Rachel Stine, who had a gothic appearance, and likewise, a beautiful darkness to her art. I can only imagine how great a solo show of hers would have been. Which is why, when I heard about this one-day show at the Lakes Area Art League Art Center, I figured it would be something people might enjoy going to. The exhibit will feature the work of recent Center High School graduate LeAnne Rheaume, who worked on the mural creation of high school fine arts department. The exhibit will be from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday Aug. 16 at the art center, 305 Nacogdoches St. in Center. To find out more information, call Donna Neuville at 598-3278.
