Fun in the mud

The Texas Mud Race kicks off at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, Aug. 7 at the Nacogdoches County Expo Center. The two-night event includes mud drag racing on the fast and mud bog tracks, mud slinging and wild tractor tire giants. There is a $10 charge for coolers, and tickets will be available at the door for $15 for adults and $8 for children under 12. The fun continues at the same time Saturday, and organizers encourage those who attend to bring lawn chairs.
