Write an essay, win a skydiving trip

If you’re a student or professional member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers or the Advancing Hispanic Excellence in Technology or Engineering Math and Science you can enter the first U.S. Army essay competition for a chance to sky dive with a team of the Army’s elite Golden Knights. The contest deadline is Sept. 10. Ten finalists, consisting of five students and five professionals will be interviewed during the 2009 SHPE conference on Oct. 29 in Washington D.C., and two winners will be announced at banquet on Oct. 31.
