Got grapes?

I first discovered Kiepersol Winery while researching an article on fun things to do in East Texas. The winery, situated off U.S. Hwy. 69 in Bullard, makes an assortment of vino that ranges from Syrah to Semillon. Saturday, they hosted their annual Harvest Festival, and being the ‘wino’ that I am, I grabbed a colleague and headed north. The festival wasn’t quite what I expected, but it was fun all the same. Wine-o-Ritas and Sangrias were served on a veranda that overlooked the vineyards, while live music blasted from a stage near a tub of grapes ready for stomping. The festival is an annual event, so if you get a chance next year, I would recommend checking it out.
