Max is looking for a new home
Christy Wooten/The Daily Sentinel
Is that my new home I see out there? I'm Max, a german shepherd mix, and am temporarily what is lovingly referred to as a tripod. See I had surgery a little while back for a dislocated knee cap. I am recovering well and starting to put weight on my back leg but I haven't let my momentary injury slow me down. I can still romp and run with the best of them! I have to leave my old home because the doctor says my newborn human brother is highly allergic to me. I don't like making him sick so I am looking for another home to love and care for me. With a little over a year of wear on me, I am current on all my shots, neutered, and only about 75 lbs. Although I am used to being outside most the time, I behaved very well around my former indoor feline friends and my family's other children. I am currently in a foster home so if you want to visit me, please call the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter to set up an appointment. Thanks a million! And if you get a chance, could you bring some small children's swimming pools by for the other dogs to play in during the upcoming hot summer months? Nacogdoches Animal Services and Adoption Center is located at 3211 SW Stallings Drive. Hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. For more information, call 560-5011 or visit www.nacogdoches.petfinder.com.
