Pet of the Week
Will you help a foreigner?
Christy Wooten/The Daily Sentinel
G'day, mate! My name is Jim and I am a two-year-old Australian Shepherd with a sweet disposition. I get along with other dogs and love kids. You know us Aussies, we love everyone. I'm smart as a whip and have lots of energy, as most young dogs do. I would love a good home where I could either work on the farm or where someone would play with me every day, go for long walks and spend some quality time on the couch watching the television at the end of the day. Are those realistic hopes for a home here in the states? If nothing else, could you bring some dog and cat collars up to the shelter? They would really help us out up here. Thank you! The Nacogdoches Animal Shelter is located at 3211 SW Stallings Drive. Hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. For more information, call 936-560-5011 or visit www.nacogdoches.petfinder.com.
