Dust off your boots, grab your cowboy hat and go see the up and coming Texas country group, the Josh Abbott Band, perform Thursday, June 18, at The Anex. They're back in Nacogdoches after their previous performance at the SFA end of year bash on April 25.
Formed in early 2006 in Lubbock, where the members attended Texas Tech University, the Josh Abbott Band is quickly making a name for itself. After a year of playing local shows and parties, the band recorded a self-titled LP and soon had national attention after their music video "Buried Me" made the final cut of Country Music Television's Music City Madness Competition.
