"I'm not sure if Juan saw the same movie I did. The film was really good, a little low budget as far as picture quality though. There was no cursing at least I don't remeber there being any from the two times I saw the film( and I never see movies twice). As far as the racist jokes towards white people they were nonexistent(I'm white). I think it is a good film to bring the kids to---way better than the sexually overtoned tv and even cartoons these days that they see on a daily basis. I would give it a B. My favorite was of course, the happy ending. Go check it out!"

Terrible Movie

"This movie was absolutely terrible. I even thought it had a few racial overtones towards people of the white race. If the same jokes were made towards the colored race it would be considered racist....NO I am not a racist (Hispanic Male). Also, I'm sure glad my lovely wife did not bring my 12 y/o daughter to see this movie. It depicted life in a dysfuctional setting. A good portion of the movie was dedicated to the use of foul language, drugs and racial jokes that just made this potentially good movie into a horrible event. PS The only good laugh I had was when she went on a date with the married man and his wife and kids showed up in a mini-van... "

"My husband and I went to see this movie this weekend and my husband thought it was Tyler's best movie yet! I think it's right up there with the other 2, but it was indeed a refreshing movie that made us laugh and cry (me, not my husband) :-) Thank you Tyler for another hit and I can't believe it wasn't at least number 1 or 2 at the box office :-( But that's alright...you're doing BIG things and to God be the Glory!! :-) Keep on doing what you do!!!"

Underdeveloped Storyline

"I loved Perry's concept, however the storyline was extremely underdeveloped. It was just not believeable that they would fall in love after showing no evidence of them having any type of courtship. Also, there were countless scenerios where I would love to have seen Perry get more involved in making us understand theses characters more. Perry should have spent more time addressing the abuse, showing courtship between Gabriel and Idris, and provided a more suitable ending for this great concept. If so, I would have gone to see it at least twice at the movie theater. Although I've supported his other movies/plays in the past, I was very disappointed that my loyalty was taken for granted and my intelligence insulted by such an underdeveloped storyline. I know he is capable of doing a much better job."
