"I didn't give this any stars because I couldn't find the minus stars. THIS PIECE OF CRAP SUCKED!!! I saw because it was compared to Crash, which was a good movie. THIS IS NOT!! They should have given Cate Blanchett a supporting of supporting of supporting actress. Hardly any screen time and when she does, hardly says much. Maybe 15 mins. at best on screen. Brad doesn't have much more either. He was not the least interesting in this at all!! Again watch this movie at your own risk. You've been warned. "

" IT STARTS interestingly enough and I was very curious how it was all going to work out but towards the end of the film I was satrting to get the "message" and it was dark and improbable . I really didn't like the "BAD" U.S. Immigration people and the thought of the couple ( Pitt and Blanchart ) going home after all fo that to find their kids were coyote bait because the "BAD" immigration people are apathetic to people dying in the desert . Give me a break . Brad Pitt turned in a good performance as did the Japanese girl. They captured a glimps of foriegn areas well and that was interesting to me but the way the last 20 minutes of the movie tied the 4 way sory together was dissapointing."

"What a piece of disjointed slow-moving crap! Ringel's rating of C was two notches above mine - F. I kept wondering how to tie it all together. Most of the time it seemed as though I was watching three different movies at the same time. Most people with a wound like whats-her-name had would have been in shock and/or severe pain. Get real Hollywood! It's true about never pay to see anything that won an Oscar........... "

"In order to really appreciate the movie, as most of the best film critics have, you need to be interested in what happens in the world. It is the norm that U.S. people do not care about anything but themselves, and that is why the person who wrote the review for this paper has no idea of what she is talking about. Only when you really understand what the U.S. is doing to the world will you understand the deep meaning if Babel."

"K...without going into which movie 'actually' begin filming first....the movie "Babel" was a total rip-off of last years best film "Crash". Same concept, same general ideas with inter-twined lives that 'somehow' come full circle within the movie. How much origination does something like that call for? I was really disappointed not only that the movie imitated another great movie from just a few short month ago, but that the Golden Globes seemingly closed their eyes and ears to these rip-off artist and gave it the best film award...hummmm. I don't get that...but, if you get what I am trying to say, then stay away from this movie...go out and buy the Crash movie...and all shall be forgiven. Happy Trails. "
