Suspected held over fatal shooting at Amarillo bar
AMARILLO, Texas — Police arrested a suspect in the slaying of a British tourist during an Amarillo bar robbery in which a female patron allegedly was sexually assaulted.
A 25-year-old Lubbock man, Ray Carlos Cisneros, was in the Potter County Detention Center on Saturday on a capital murder charge.
A jail official who declined to provide his full name to The Associated Press said Cisneros was arrested on a warrant and no bond was set, pending his initial court appearance. Police say additional charges are pending.
Police on Friday arrested Cisneros over the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Thomas George Reeve. Another man was shot in the hand Thursday night at the Spotted Pony Lounge.
Several patrons were robbed and assaulted, plus money was taken from a cash register. Police also say a female patron was sexually assaulted.
