Texas High Plains cash grain markets closed 7 cents lower on grain sorghum, mostly 4 cents lower on wheat, 7 cents higher on soybeans and 4 cents lower on corn.
Prices paid or bid to the producer F.O.B. elevator as of 3:00 p.m. Grain sorghum quoted per hundredweight; wheat, corn and soybeans per bushel.
Area north of the Canadian River:
Grain sorghum: $5.64-5.91
Wheat: $4.71-4.82
Soybeans: $8.96-9.42
Corn: $3.76-3.91
Triangle area from Plainview to Canyon to Farwell:
Grain sorghum: $6.09-6.28
Wheat: $4.74-4.82
Soybeans: NO BID
Corn: $3.82-4.01
Area south of a Line from Plainview to Muleshoe:
Grain sorghum: $6.20-6.45
Wheat: $4.57-4.79
