Theft, 1122 North University Drive. Margaret Young, 40, of 322 Lenwood Drive, was arrested for taking items from JCPenney, Shoe Department and Burk's.

Forgery, 4810 North St., McDonald's. A counterfeit $100 was used at the cashier.

Coats, 36, 3048 Woden Road, No. 3, burglary of a building; Ronny Glenn Jones, 43, Lufkin, warrant for theft of service; Rodney Demone Randle, 40, 1902 Pat St., driving while license invalid and hit-and-run; John Wesley Richardson, 46, 456 Hidden Meadows Drive, warrant for securing execution of document by deception; and Reynaldo Torres, 25, Crystal City, two warrants for motion to revoke probation.
JAIL POPULATION
On Tuesday morning, 179 inmates were housed in the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the jail's maximum population is 292.
