Bottle half-empty for jail bound man

Evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance, 400 block of Otis Street. A man fled on foot from officers who responded to a drug complaint. The man, Antonio Delatore Brewer, 19, of 808 Moore St., was seen throwing a bottle containing suspected crack cocaine during the chase, the report said, before he was caught and arrested.

Dog bite, 4100 block of North Street. A man was bitten by his neighbor's dog.

Criminal mischief, 100 block of Mitchell Street. A window was broken with a brick.

———

Theft, 4801 North St., Wal-Mart. Items were removed by two people without paying and warrants were requested for them.

Theft, 400 block of Sadler Street. A bicycle was loaned to a known person who will not bring it back.

———

Criminal mischief, 1700 block of South Street. Two vehicles were broken into and the dashes were damaged.

Burglary of a habitation, 2900 block of North Pecan Street. A TV was taken from a home.

Harassment, CR 105. A neighbor threatened the complainant during an argument.

———

Shot fired, U.S. Highway 59 South. The windshield was shot out of a vehicle while it was southbound on U.S. 59, four miles outside of the loop.

Terroristic threat, FM 1275. A woman was threatened by her daughter.

———

Theft, 200 block of Sweetgum Street. Scaffolding was loaned to someone who has refused to return it.

Arrests included: Chelsea Blaire Anderson, 22, 1211 East Austin St., theft; Kenneth R. Appelt, 42, Heber Springs, Ariz., warrant for assault; Kristasha Bell, 18, Center, theft; Corey Brown, 20, Mansfield, possession of marijuana and aggravated assault; Rowena Brown, 43, 1455 CR 521, failure to appear; Cochise Callaway, 30, Tenaha, failure to appear; Eunice M. Cartwright, 40, 151 Pearl St., warrant for securing a document by deception; Edward Christopher Cervantes, 29, 1905 Highway 259 South, warrant for unauthorized use of a vehicle; Raul Luna, 26, 179 Circle Drive, No. 806, no driver's license; Kelley Shane Plough, 23, Crandell, driving while intoxicated; Laketha Polly, 25, Center, theft; and Juanita Simon Tutt, 21, 106 Oak Hill Plaza, warrants for assault/family violence and criminal mischief.

Jail Population

On Wednesday morning, 198 inmates were housed in the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the jail's maximum population is 292.
