The following action was taken recently in Nacogdoches County district courts:

420TH DISTRICT COURT

Those sentenced included:

Norman Lee Agnew, aggravated assault, seven years TDC; theft, two years in state jail; unlawful possession of firearm, three years in TDC; credit card abuse, two years in state jail; bail jumping, five years in TDC.

Sadie Ruth Franklin, driving while intoxicated, three years in TDC.

Anthony Adams Land, burglary of a habitation, four years in TDC.

Vincent Michael Wood, driving while intoxicated, three years in TDC.

Julio Dameon Bernardo Barron, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, eight years in TDC.

The following people received probated sentences:

Nathaniel Freeman Jr., theft, three years probation, $500 fine, $4,118 restitution, 200 hours community service.

Emily Lynn Parker, credit card abuse, four years deferred probation, $500 fine, $456.58 restitution, 100 hours community service; credit card abuse, four years deferred probation, $500 fine, $528 restitution, 100 hours community service; theft, four years deferred probation, 100 hours community service.

John Sowell Jr., assault, six months deferred probation, 48 hours community service.

Sharon Mae Berry, possession of a controlled substance, one year deferred probation, $500 fine, $140 restitution, 100 hours community service.

Derrick Lamarc Wyatt, possession of a controlled substance, six months deferred probation, $200 fine, $140 restitution, 100 hours community service.
