Milk doesn't always do a body good

Tampering with consumer product, 1000 block of Durst Street. The complainant wanted to file charges on a known person who put laxatives in their milk, making them ill.

Theft, 600 block of Moore Street. Copper wire was taken from a home.

Burglary of a residence, 200 block of East Lakewood Street. A cell phone and a game system were taken from a home by a known person, and a warrant was requested.

———

Possession of marijuana, 1600 block of Cardinal Street. Officers responded to a noise complaint, and marijuana was smelled coming from the home. Marijuana was located inside, and Ryan Russel Novak, 22, of 1602 Cardinal St., No. 848, was arrested.

Theft, 900 block of Wells Street. A bike was taken from a yard.

SFA POLICE REPORT

Criminal mischief, Lot 26. A vehicle was hit with eggs and sprayed with silly string.

False alarm, Garner Apartments. A fire alarm was pulled without an emergency.

Criminal mischief, Lumberjack Village. Shaving cream was sprayed on the front door of a home.

Arrests included: Antonio Delatore Brewer, 19, 808 Moore St., bail jumping; Ronald Giles, 29, 500 Hill Ave., non-payment of child support; Justin Michael Hicks, 21, 118 CR 1011, 21, warrants for no insurance and failure to appear; Shane Bradley Loew, 19, 2117 Wilson Drive, No. 423, warrant for criminal mischief; Diana Matthews, 20, 283 Hartt St., Garrison, motion to revoke probation; Tamelia Anganette McClendon, 32, 225 East Spradley St., No. 47, failure to appear; April Allison Powers, 34, 2016 East Main St., warrant for bail jumping; Deloris Ann Sanders, 50, 317 First St., bench warrant; Emerson Shepherd, 52, 1800 Woden Road, possession of marijuana; Josette Andre Trottie, 38, San Augustine, bench warrant; and Phillip Michael Welch, 18, Kingwood, warrant for criminal mischief.

JAIL POPULATION

On Thursday morning, 218 inmates were housed in the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the jail's maximum population is 292.
