Criminal trespass, 200 block of North Fredonia Street. A man was arrested after he was found digging in a dumpster of a hotel he had previously been banned from.

Driving while license invalid and possession of drug paraphernalia, 3000 block of North Pecan Street. A vehicle was stopped for a traffic inspection violation. The driver voluntarily provided the officer with a marijuana pipe from under his front seat. The driver's license was also revoked. He was arrested.

Theft, U.S. Highway 259, Polk's Pick-It-Up. A man reported that a man came into the store and took a bag of chips valued at $1.29 and left without paying.

Assault/family violence, 3200 block of Pearl Street. A man said his girlfriend pushed him after she caught him cheating.

Public intoxication and retaliation, 2800 block of North Street. A woman called the police because her boyfriend was intoxicated and she felt things were going to escalate. After officers spoke to him, they received another call from the woman. She told them her boyfriend was following her, yelling at her that he was going to kill her for calling the police. He was located and arrested for public intoxication and retaliation.

Possession of a controlled substance, 600 block of East Pillar Street. Officers responded to an alcohol complaint at the soccer field. Officers observed Juan Toledo Perez, 34, of Mansfield, throw down several cans of beer and walk away. Officers contacted the man and he was found to have a warrant for driving while license invalid. During transport, the man dumped a bag of powder cocaine in the back seat of the patrol car.

Assault/family violence, Ellington Street. A woman said her boyfriend pushed her during an argument.

Criminal mischief, 3400 block of Main Street. A woman reported that her boyfriend got mad at her, and he left the apartment and busted a window of her residence.

Theft, 1122 North University Drive, JC Penney's. Officers received a call that someone was taking shoes from the store without paying for them. An employee followed the suspect into the restroom, where the man offered to pay for the shoes and the employee refused to take the money. The man left the store and officers arrested Tieshawn Floyd Griffin, 34, of 611 Hayward St., in front of Fresh Harvest.

Recovered runaway, 2400 block of E.J. Campbell. Officers discovered a runaway walking around in Eastwood Terrace. The boy's mother drove in from Kingwood and he was released into her custody.

Criminal trespass, FM 225. A woman asked to file criminal trespass charges against a man who is obsessed with her. She said she does not want him to return to the residence because she is married.

Public intoxication, CR 627. Deputies arrested a man who was knocking on doors and walking in the middle of the roadway. He was determined to be intoxicated to a degree that he was a danger to himself and others.

Burglary of a habitation. A man reported his pistol had been taken from his home.

Rocha, 50, 704 Logansport, Center, order of confinement.
JAIL POPULATION
On Sunday morning, 200 inmates were housed in the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the jail's maximum population is 292.
