Forgery, 300 block of North Street. A payroll check was cashed by an unknown person after it was mailed to the wrong address.

Hit-and-run, 4810 North St., Wal-Mart.

Possession of marijuana, 400 block of Southeast Stallings Drive. A vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Arrests included: Eugene Bolden Jr., 18, 201 Bowie St., No. 39, warrant for disorderly conduct; Carrie Ann Durrett, 29, 2765 CR 816, warrant for theft; James Jimmy Graham, 21, 1714 Durst St., failure to appear; Eric Michael Kaley, 17, Cleveland, possession of marijuana; Eusevio Moralez Martinez, 38, 302 E. Seale St., public intoxication; Coby Smith, 26, 2765 CR 810, motion to revoke probation; Tempress Lashetta Wade, 23, 602 Beard St., theft and a violation of probation; and Phyllis Tutt Washington, 44, 4100 North St., No. A101A, public intoxication.

JAIL POPULATION

On Thursday morning, 180 inmates were housed in the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the jail's maximum population is 292.
