POLICE REPORT

Like a bull in a china shop

Criminal mischief, 1800 block of Pruitt Hill. An unlocked home was entered by someone who caused $150 in damages.

Assault, criminal mischief, terroristic threat and interference with an emergency call, 1400 block of Cleaver Street. A known person struck someone and refused to leave the residence. They threatened the victim and took the phone away when they attempted to call the police. A warrant was requested for them.

Theft, 1500 block of Fields Street. Two air conditioners were taken from a rental home.

———

Theft, 1100 block of Southwest Stallings Drive. A portable generator was taken from the porch of a home.

———

Criminal mischief, 3200 block of North Street. The tires of a vehicle were cut.

———

Assault, 800 block of Evelyn Street. A woman said a known person had assaulted her. Officers were able to see visible injuries on her neck. Jackie Ray Lewis II, 23, 822 Evelyn St., was arrested.

———

Burglary of a vehicle, 100 block of Creekview Bend. A vehicle was forcibly entered and a bank bag with an unknown amount of cash was taken.

SFA POLICE REPORTS

Providing alcohol to minors, Hall 14. Officer discovered a person had furnished alcohol to minors.

Arrests included: Elizabeth Deeann Cox, 27, 9922 FM 226, bench warrant; Bryan Lee Fancher, 43, 658 CR 4891, Etoile, order of confinement; Josue Juan Flores, 21, 1224 Woodbine Drive, warrant for prohibited substance in a correctional facility; Dannie Haskin, 32, 7761 E. Hwy. 7, driving while license invalid; Kandi Lindley, 36, Quitmann, driving while license invalid; Janet Wagner Pennington, 59, 901 CR 560, Etoile, false report to an officer; Arthur Sexton, 59, 203 Cottage Park, driving while intoxicated, burglary of a habitation, no insurance and no driver's license; Cotina Shuntell Singleton, 36, 1101 Oak Hill Plaza, two motions to revoke probation; Richard George Vandusen, 54, 205 Foxtrot St., assault; and Antonio Lavence Yarbrough, 26, Highway 59, Timpson, failure to appear.

JAIL POPULATION

On Thursday morning, 187 inmates were housed in the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the jail's maximum population is 292.
