Burglary of a habitation, 3900 block of Water Oak Street. A home was entered by an unknown person and cash was stolen. The person who entered the home also left a faucet running.

Found property, 1000 block of Douglass Highway. A wallet was located in a parking lot and was turned into police.

Criminal mischief, 600 block of First Street. A window was broken with a brick.

Driving while intoxicated, 100 block of North Sanders Street. A report was made of a reckless driver. A vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested.

Assault, 2000 block of Railroad Street. A man was assaulted by a known person during a party, and he was arrested.

Burglary, 300 block of Brewer Street. Officers responded to an alarm. The building had been entered, but no one was located.

Theft, 1400 block of North Street. A cell phone was taken while the owner was at work.

Theft, 1600 block of Cardinal Street. Two bikes were taken from apartment complexes after the locks on them were cut.

Burglary of a vehicle, 1500 block of Pearl Street. Stereos were taken from two vehicles that were forcibly entered.

Burglary, Seventh Street, Cushing. The window of a building was broken and entry was made.

Terroristic threat, Lumberjack Lodge. A woman said she was threatened by a known person.

Theft. A wallet had been stolen. The victim did not know when or where it happened.

Disorderly conduct and minor in possession, Lot 46. An officer observed a man urinating in public. He was contacted and found to be intoxicated and a minor. He and two other intoxicated minors were issued citations for minors in possession and he was given one for disorderly conduct.

Criminal mischief, Garner Apartments. The side door to the building was damaged.

Burglary of a habitation, Steen Hall. Items were taken from a dorm room. It was unknown if the room was locked at the time.

Theft, Hall 16. A cell phone was taken from the Intramural Field.

Minor in possession, University Woods. A minor was found in possession of an alcohol beverage and was issued a citation.

JAIL POPULATION
On Tuesday morning, 219 inmates were housed in the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the jail's maximum population is 292.
