Failure to identify, 4800 block of North Street. Officers spoke to a man at a minor accident, and he gave officers a false name. He was correctly identified and was arrested.

Theft, 4200 block of Northeast Stallings Drive. A tailgate was taken from a pickup.

———

Fraud, 1400 block of Cardinal Street. Unauthorized withdraws were made to a bank account without permission.

Theft, 2700 block of Northwest Stallings Drive. The fence at a business was cut, and four four-wheelers were taken from the lot.

———

Assault, 600 block of Oakhill Plaza. An assault occurred during an argument. No serious injuries were reported, and a warrant was requested.

———

Interference with an emergency call, 700 block of Harris Street. One person prevented another from calling the police and a warrant was requested.

Possession of a prohibited weapon, 1200 block of South Street. A man was contacted for suspicious activity. He was found in possession of a knife was arrested.

———

Criminal mischief, 100 block of Rulfs Street. The windows of several vehicle were broken during the night.

———

Assault, 2800 block of Pearl Street. Two people assaulted each other during a disturbance. Complaints were signed, but no arrests were made.

———

Burglary of a vehicle, 200 block of South Fredonia Street. The windows of a vehicle were broken by an unknown person.

JAIL POPULATION

On Thursday morning, 213 inmates were housed in the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the jail's maximum population is 292.
