Theft, 1100 block of North University Drive. A woman was arrested for shoplifting, and she gave the officers a false name. Her real name was discovered, and she was found to have an outstanding warrant for theft.

Burglary of a habitation. A report was made that an unknown man forced his way into someone's home and forced them to have sexual relations.

Theft, 700 block of North Mound Street. A purse containing a wallet, jewelry and 13 credit cards was taken.

Burglary of a vehicle, 4600 block of North Street. A bow was taken from the rear of a truck.

Credit card abuse, 1600 block of Cardinal Street. A credit card was used to make unauthorized purchases.

Forgery, 2200 block of Briargrove Street. Several checks were forged on an account.

Unlawful restraint, 1800 block of Virginia Avenue. A woman reported being held down by someone who refused to let her go. This incident happened in September.

Theft, 1100 block of North University Drive. A man was arrested after attempting to conceal merchandise and trying leave the store.

Possession of marijuana, 1100 Oakhill Plaza Street. A man was contacted by police. He was found in possession of marijuana, and he was arrested.

Criminal mischief, 200 block of East Starr Avenue. A window was broken out of a vehicle while parked.

Driving while intoxicated, 100 block of Zeno Street. A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested.

On Wednesday morning, 208 inmates were housed in the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the jail's maximum population is 292.
