The following action was taken recently in Nacogdoches County district courts:

420th District Court

Those sentenced included:

Kourtney Anthony, theft, one year state jail.

Cortney Michelle Matthews, credit card abuse, 180 days state jail.

Knomo Zhivago Matthews, possession of a controlled substance, 180 days state jail; delivery of a controlled substance, 18 months state jail.

Dewayne Royce Williams, aggravated assault, five years in prison; criminal mischief, 12 months state jail.

Jeremy J. Bowley, injury to a child, five years in prison.

Joseph Dewayne Lambert, injury to a child, 10 years in prison.

Melinda Long-Smith, possession of a controlled substance, one year in the county jail.

The following people received probated sentences:

James Marshall Ferguson, driving while intoxicated, eight years probation, 15 days in jail, $3,000 fine, 160 hours of community service.

Deanna Nicole Santarelli, forgery, three years deferred probation, $1,500 fine, 160 hours community service.

Calvin Deantwan Davis, possession of marijuana, four years deferred probation, $2,000 fine, 160 hours community service, $140 restitution.

Judy Stailey Strickland, DWI, five years probation, 10 days in jail, $2,000 fine, 200 hours community service.

Jeremy J. Bowley, injury to a child, five years in prison reduced to 10 years probation, $2,500 fine, $5,000 restitution, 300 hours community service.

Robert Arthur Barkley, possession of marijuana, two years deferred probation, $3,000 fine, 100 hours community service.

David Gregory Otis, possession of marijuana, one year deferred probation, $1,000 fine, 60 hours community service.

Antonio Dewayne Garner, four years deferred probation, $2,000 fine, $140 restitution, 200 hours community service.

Lakreshia Robinson, possession of a controlled substance, four years deferred probation, $2,000 fine, $140 restitution, 200 hours community service.

Those sentenced included:

Nathaniel Williford, aggravated assault, two years deferred probation, $1,000 fine.

Silas Edwin Stotts Jr., illegal dumping, 30 days in jail; possession of a controlled substance, three years deferred probation, $1,500 fine; burglary of a building, three years deferred probation, restitution to be determined.
