A Nacogdoches High School girls' basketball coach has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation into allegations of an improper relationship between an educator and a student.
Dayna Crenshaw was placed on administrative leave following a complaint that was made to the administration, according to Dr. Rodney Hutto, Nacogdoches ISD superintendent.
"There have been some allegations made, and we're just checking it out," Hutto said.
Hutto said the administration and the NISD police department is doing a "pretty thorough investigation," and no other information will be available until the investigation is complete.
"Our main concern is the safety and well being of all our students," Hutto said. "We take every complaint seriously."
