The Daily Sentinel, an afternoon newspaper for much of its history, converted to morning publication in 1996. Daily circulation is around 9,000, and Sunday circulation is nearly 12,000. The newspaper has won many first-place awards in the past 10 years from the Associated Press, regional press associations and Cox Newspapers.
