Stephen F. Austin's coaching staff put their faith in Kenneth Charles with a scholarship offer, even though Charles didn't have the necessary qualifying scores on signing day his senior year in high school.Charles passed the test the summer following graduation from Missouri City's Hightower High School and came to SFA.
