After a scrappy start in Game 2 by Jacksonville, Nacogdoches took advantage and strung together a few runs that carried over in to Game 3.

A well-rounded team effort helped the home team get the win.

Great passes, a strong defensive showing and a block or two helped set up Chandler Johnson and Leeder to serve five point runs.

Alexander and Leeder also pushed strong kills up front.

Nacogdoches will host Kilgore at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday with playoff complications on the line.

If Nacogdoches wins, it can move up in to a tie for fourth in district play.

The junior varsity squad won in two games (25-16, 25-9). Chasity Mooney, Paige Fuslier, Keke Berry and Dedra Stern all had stand out performances.

The freshmen team won in three games (25-27, 25-14, 25-15). Alexis Edison, Ambrosia Riggins and Johnetta Harless all finished strong.
