COVID Report Card

Nacogdoches County Emergency Management on Tuesday night learned of three new cases of COVID-19, bringing the county’s total to 240.

The new cases are that of a woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s who are both live in the city, and a woman in her 80s from a long-term care facility.

Of the current 89 active cases, 11 are hospitalized with one in the intensive care unit, according to state data.

A local call center is now fielding about a dozen calls a day, and approximately 1,350 tests have been administered for the virus. Those with symptoms of COVID such as fever, coughing and shortness of breath may call 936-468-4787 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
