Bonita United Methodist Church will host three upcoming events:

■ Sunday’s Holy Communion service will feature a message by the Rev. Rick Anderson, entitled “Amazed and Astonished” from Luke 24: 1-2. Worship will begin at 9 a.m. followed by an Easter egg hunt on the church playground. Children are asked to bring their own baskets.

■ United Methodist Women will meet at noon Wednesday, April 8. Participants should bring a sack lunch.

■ “Bonita Friends Forever,” an outreach program for children, will be from 3:15 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, in the CLC. Adult Bible study will follow at 6 p.m.

■ Sunday morning’s service will feature a message by Dr. Jeff McDonald, entitled “Jesus and the Women at the Tomb” from Mark 16:1-8. Sunday school will follow at 9:45 a.m.

■ The church will host an Easter breakfast at 7:45 a.m. followed by an Easter egg hunt at 9:45 a.m. in the Family Life Center.

Goodwill Baptist Church will host a choir anniversary at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11. All choirs are invited and asked to do an A&B. Registration will be at the door.

Harvest Point Church will celebrate Resurrection Sunday with an adult fellowship breakfast at 8:45 a.m. followed by Bible study at 9:15 a.m. Sunday morning’s service will feature a message by the Rev. Lee McDowell, entitled “A New Day Dawning” from Matthew 28:1-7.

■ Sunday morning’s service will feature a message by the Rev. Gene Russell, entitled “Alive from the Dead” from Romans 6:3-11.

■ The movie “What If” will be shown at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 5.

■ Wednesday night’s Bible study at 6 p.m. will continue the message “God’s Mysteries in the New Testament (11).”
