Nacogdoches City Council will discuss the process for notifying neighbors of zone changes during a workshop Tuesday afternoon.

“Over the past several months, the planning office has received several inquiries about the city’s public notice requirements regarding zone changes and similar applications,” City Planner Alaina Chafin wrote in a memo to council members. “Several of these questions arose from a zone change application that was approved on Logansport Street last year, with questions specifically related to mailed notices received by adjacent property owners.”
