Backyard Bird Bonanza Saturday

The Backyard Bird Bonanza will be 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Pineywoods Native Plant Center, 2900 Raguet St.

The event is rain or shine and for all ages. The Native Plant Center is located at 2900 Raguet St.

Fruit, vegetable conference set in Nac

The East Texas Fruit and Vegetable Conference is scheduled for Feb. 21 in Nacogdoches.

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service event will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:50 p.m. at the Nacogdoches Civic Center, 3805 N.W. Stallings Drive.

Registration is available online at agriliferegister.tamu.edu/horticluture or by calling 979-845-2604 by Feb. 20. Fees are $30 per person or $50 per couple. Late registration is $40 and $60. Lunch is included.
