Expanded mail voting for Texans due to the coronavirus pandemic won’t happen any time soon — if at all.

A federal appeals court this week extended a temporary order blocking a vote-by-mail expansion. The mail ballot issue turned into a political ping pong match after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton challenged an April ruling and the case made its way into federal courts.

Over the last eight days it is obvious after watching the huge groups protesting around the world with many not wearing masks or practicing social distancing that the fear of covid -19 is not great enough to keep us from going to the polls to vote .
