Police Reports

Burglary, 1100 block of CR 4921. The Precinct 4 Constable’s Office was dispatched to a reported burglary. “The complainant’s daughter arrived on scene and advised she had locked herself out of the residence and crawled through the window.”

Minor accident, 15000 block of S. FM 225. A driver’s vehicle was towed after a minor crash. The driver refused treatment.

Credit card abuse, 200 block of CR 127. “Funds were taken off the complainant’s debit card without his knowledge of consent. At the time of this report, a suspect is not known.”

Aggravated sexual assault of a child, 2300 block of Douglass Rd. “Deputies responded to the Nacogdoches County Law Enforcement Center to gather information on a sexual assault.”

Harassment, 3200 block of North St. A person contacted police to press charges against someone who “unlawfully disclosed intimate visual material on a social media website without her consent.”

Burglary of a habitation, 3400 block of Raguet St. Someone stole property from another person’s garage.

Disturbance in progress, 300 block of Esther Blvd. “Officers responded to a disturbance and found that one party had assaulted the other during a physical altercation.”

Family violence, 3500 block of Kings Row Dr. A man was accused of assaulting his son.

Evading arrest, 2600 block of N.W. Stallings Dr. Officers stopped to check on a vehicle parked behind a building and a person seen standing beside it, who ran on foot. The suspect eluded police, who found out the vehicle had been reported stolen from another city.

Arrests included: Emmanuel Lejuan Griffin, 29, of Alto, tampering with physical evidence, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of failure to appear on a misdemeanor, and a bench warrant; Pamela Michelle Higgs, 38, public intoxication; Wilandra Shanett Johnson, 41, assault.

SFA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Fire alarm, Lumberjack Village. Officers dispatched to investigate a fire alarm found a person in possession of drug paraphernalia.

JAIL POPULATION

As of 9 a.m. Tuesday, there were 248 inmates at the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.
