Counterfeit bills or checks, 2400 block of S.E. Stallings Dr. “Officers are investigating a report of a known suspect attempting to use counterfeit currency to make a purchase.”

Counterfeit bills or checks, 500 block of King St. Someone tried to pay for services with fake money.

Threatening, 900 block of FM 2664. “A man was threatening with violence following his departure from a local company.”

Forgery, 2000 block of CR 555. A case of suspected forgery was found to be a civil issue.

Supplemental report, 5500 block of CR 302. Two small trailers were added to the list of items stolen from a home.

Scam, 200 block of CR 873. A resident reported buying something through a social media site and not receiving the item.

Criminal trespass, 2300 block of Douglass Rd. A trespass warning was issued to a person in the county jail visitation area.

Warrant service, 100 block of W. Main St. Deputies arrested a person at the courthouse on an outstanding warrant.

Agency assist, 200 block of CR 4942. Deputies investigated a report of threats made.

Criminal mischief, 6600 block of S. FM 225. An extra patrol was ordered in response to criminal mischief in the area.

Assault, 400 block of CR 719. A woman accused her daughter of assaulting her. A report was taken.

Suspicious person, 12000 block of State Hwy. 7 E. Deputies were dispatched to a report of a suspicious person knocking on the window of a school. It turned out the suspect was lost and trying to get directions. He was led to his destination.

Burglary of a habitation, 200 block of CR 221. “Complainant advised a known family member entered her residence without permission, assaulted her and destroyed her cell phone.”

Disturbance in progress, 1600 block of Looneyville Rd. “A known subject assaulted the complainant causing minor injury.”

Theft, Stewart St. and Third St. Someone allegedly stole a boat.

Controlled substance problem, 4500 block of N. University Dr. Emergency personnel were dispatched to a welfare check and found someone who’d “consumed an unknown amount of narcotics.” They were hospitalized.

Theft, 2000 block of Pruitt Hill Cir. Someone stole a person’s phone “during a Facebook marketplace transaction.”

Burglary of a building, 3400 block of North St. Someone entered an AT&T store through a broken window and stole property.

Theft, 4800 block of North St. Two people tried to shoplift from Walmart.

Arrests included: Anthony Quinn Manger, 43, release of surety; Nicholas Dewayne Patton, 38, two counts of release of surety; Qymesha Quenshy Session, 25, motion to revoke probation and two other misdemeanors; Colton Charles Ward, 27, of Center, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and criminal trespass.

SFA POLICE DEPARTMENT

No reports were filed.

JAIL POPULATION

As of 9 a.m. Wednesday, there were 244 inmates at the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.

Medical assists on Oakview Drive, Russell Boulevard, North Street, Post Oak Road, N. University Drive, Sandra Jean Street, Northway Drive, Quail Ridge Drive, Westview Drive and E. Starr Avenue.

Motor vehicle accident with injuries on Appleby Sand Road.

Alarm malfunction on Westward Drive.

Unauthorized burning on N. Mound Street.
