Theft, 400 block of CR 8201. A juvenile was accused of taking $3,000 from a cash box.

Theft, 1100 block of NW Stallings Dr. Someone allegedly broke into and stole items from several RVs at a dealership.

Burglary, 100 block of Ross Hardeman Rd. A report was taken about a building burglary.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 400 block of CR 719. A vehicle was reported stolen. It had been missing for three days at the time of the report.

Controlled substance, US 59 S and Stallings Dr. Deputies found suspected drugs while searching a vehicle pulled over for a traffic violation.

Theft, 1100 block of N University Dr. One person was arrested for shoplifting twice from a store.

Burglary, 1500 block of Creekside Ln. Someone reportedly broke into and stole property from a home.

Assault, 400 block of First St. A kid assaulted a family member, but no charges were filed.

Assault, 100 block of Cheryl St. A report was taken about a man assaulting a woman with whom he had a relationship.

Agency assist, 18000 block of State Hwy. 21 W. One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after an ATV crash.

Harassment, 200 block of CR 873. A man accused his ex-wife of sending him harassing texts after being warned not to by authorities.

Death investigation, 2400 block of CR 260. Deputies took a report about a person’s death.

Family violence, 1100 block of CR 559. A report was taken about a possible assault.

Suspicious vehicle, 400 block of CR 9892. Extra patrols were ordered after a woman reported seeing her ex’s vehicle outside her home. The woman has an active protective order against her ex.

Theft, 1600 block of Cardinal St. Property was stolen from a trailer.

DUI, 200 block of SW Stallings Dr. A driver who crashed was arrested for being intoxicated.

Traffic offense, 1000 block of S University Dr. Marijuana was found in a vehicle stopped by police for a traffic violation. One person was arrested.

Death investigation, 3100 block of Edgewood Ln. One person was found dead at home.

Assault, 200 block of E Lakewood St. A woman accused a family member of assault.

Burglary of a habitation, 1400 block of Martinsville St. Someone broke into an apartment and stole property.

Controlled substance, 1600 block of Douglass Rd. A driver pulled over for a violation was in possession of marijuana, and was ticketed.

Lee, 18, driving under the influence — minor; Alexandria Renee McAdams, 18, possession of marijuana; Uriel Ivan Medina, 25, possession of a controlled substance; Chester Lee Parker, 38, failure to appear on a misdemeanor; Amy Colleen Reneau, 29, warrant; Walker Ridgeway, 18, of Houston, possession of marijuana; Rondale Tremon Sanders, 41, failure to appear on a misdemeanor and bail jumping and failure to appear; Ruth Ann Simmons, 56, of Cleveland, possession of marijuana; Chris A. Wright, 47, of Bay City, motion to revoke probation; Michael Lane Batson, 47, of Huntington, possession of marijuana; Jessie Wayne Beaumont, 37, two counts of bail jumping and failure to appear on a misdemeanor, bail jumping and failure to appear on a felony, four counts of evading arrest or detention and a warrant; Donald Craig Hatchet, 22, three counts of motion to revoke probation; Dakota Obrien Howard, 33, of Shelbyville, possession of marijuana; Matthew David Porter, 26, motion to revoke probation; Roberto Mendoza Soto, 22, driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years old; Antonio Vega, 24, driving while intoxicated — second and failure to identify; Damaree Nakie Young, 20, possession of marijuana.

SFA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Controlled substance, Lot 47. Two people inside a reported suspicious vehicle were in possession of suspected marijuana, and were arrested.

JAIL POPULATION

As of 1 p.m. Friday, there were 254 inmates at the Nacogdoches County jail. As of 11 a.m. Saturday, there were 253. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.
