Disturbance in progress, 400 block of U.S. 59 N. Deputies dispatched to a disturbance at the Garrison ISD gym arrested one person “for the offense of resisting arrest.”

Threatening, 100 block of Roadrunner Ln. A person asked deputies to warn another individual to “leave her alone” because of “ongoing problems.” Deputies will issue a criminal trespass warning to the person in question.

Credit card abuse, 300 block of CR 8201. A person’s debit card information was used fraudulently.

Theft, 9000 block of N. FM 225. A report was taken for a theft complaint.

Criminal mischief, 500 block of CR 784. A resident asked for deputies to provide extra patrols in his area.

Disturbance in progress, 5800 block of FM 2864. Deputies were contacted by a woman who “was trying to leave the residence to prevent any physical altercation. Deputy … advised (her) that she could leave if she wanted,” which she did.

Assault, 1600 block of Pearl St. Police got a report that a person’s “family member threatened to cause bodily harm” to them.

Assault, Oak Hill Plaza Dr. and Looneyville Rd. “Officers responded to a disturbance where subjects were fighting and bystanders were injured trying to break up the fight.”

Criminal trespass, 800 block of Oak Hill Plaza Dr. A person who’d been warned not to return to an apartment complex after being evicted was arrested after coming to the property.

Resisting arrest, 1500 block of North St. A man resisted arrest by police trying to serve warrants. “Officers were able to place the subject under arrest after the struggle.”

Theft, 4300 block of North St. Two people suspected of shoplifting were stopped by police, who found them “in possession of stolen property from multiple locations.” Both were arrested.

Assault, 2600 block of Center Rd. A person accused a family member of hitting them.

Burglary, 3400 block of E. Main St. A person was assaulted by a family member who they accused of breaking into the home.

Arrests included: Wesley Carl Blevins, 33, of Seadrift, two counts of failure to appear on a misdemeanor and two counts of bail jumping and failure to appear; Lidia Bocel, 21, of Brooklyn, New York, evading arrest; Trey Brian Box, 18, of Timpson, resisting arrest; Muktar Ali Elmi, 30, failure to appear on a misdemeanor and bail jumping and failure to appear; Heriberto Escobar Lopez, 21, evading arrest or detention; Christopher Joseph Gallow, 34, resisting arrest, bail jumping and failure to appear and failure to appear on a misdemeanor; William Gonzalex Reynoso, 23, evading arrest; Marjustin Cortez Jimerson, 21, bail jumping and failure to appear and failure to appear on a misdemeanor; Ryan Blake Lance, 26, theft of material; Johnny Ray Osby, 27, three counts of release of surety; Aubrey Joanne Pharris, 19, release of surety; Alexice Nicole-Patriese Smith, 20, of San Augustine, criminal trespass and possession of marijuana; Dedra Michelle Taylor, 48, of Lufkin, theft of property; Jordan Dey Wright, 25, of Lufkin, theft of property.


Sexual assault, Lumberjack Lodge. A woman reported being sexually assaulted at a dorm “by a known subject” on Feb. 7.

Theft, Hall 14. A student’s laundry was pilfered from the laundry room at her dorm on Feb. 10.


As of 11 a.m. Wednesday, there were 259 inmates at the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.


Medical assists on Goldsberry Street, N. Pecan Street, Northway Drive, Inwood Lane, Oak Creek Drive, Colonial Drive, North Street, N. University Drive, and Virginia Avenue.

Motor vehicle accidents with injuries on South Street, North Street and N. University Drive.
