Criminal trespass, 2300 block of Douglass Rd. Deputies issued a trespass warning to a person in the jail visitation area. The subject was escorted from the property.

Suspicious person, 1700 block of North St. Deputies stopped a person on North Street because they thought the person had outstanding warrants. It wasn’t the wanted person.

Theft, 5500 block of CR 302. A resident went to the sheriff’s office to report a theft, but “had to leave before deputies’ arrival and said he would return at a later time.”

Warrant service, Pine Flatt Cemetery. Deputies contacted people in a vehicle parked at a cemetery and arrested one person on an outstanding warrant.

Structure fire, 300 block of CR 769. Firefighters and law enforcement were dispatched to a structure fire. A report was made.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 100 block of CR 807. “Deputies located a subject with warrants” who had a stolen tractor battery with him.

Assault, 1400 block of Dolph St. A man accused his ex-girlfriend of assaulting him before leaving.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 2600 block of N. University Dr. A checkbook was stolen from a vehicle.

Theft, 1700 block of Rho St. A wallet and cash were stolen from a porch.

Theft, 1000 block of N. University Dr. Someone shoplifted from a gas station.

Burglary, 800 block of Third St. Property was stolen from inside a vacant house.

Burglary of a motor vehicle, 300 block of Mockingbird Ln. Property was stolen from inside a vehicle.

Arrests included: Cierra Javvarrinise Bell, 24, two counts of motion to revoke probation; Jordan Thomas Waldon, 24, of San Augustine, two warrants.


No reports were filed.


As of 9 a.m. Tuesday, there were 251 inmates at the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.
