Controlled substance, 7000 block of NW Stallings Dr. Officers pulled over a driver for a traffic violation and noticed “signs of nervous behavior, short quick breaths, carotid artery bulging in neck.” The driver was on “a short trip from Houston to Little Rock, Arkansas.” A drug dog alerted on the vehicle, and ecstasy and marijuana was found in the vehicle. The driver was arrested.

Criminal trespass, 8900 block of U.S. 259. Deputies issued a trespass warning to a person at another person’s request.

Theft, 16000 block of State Hwy. 21 W. A handgun was stolen from a vehicle “within the last two months.”

Family violence, 13000 block of FM 1878. Deputies arrested a woman accused of assaulting her mother.

Controlled substance, 3000 block of CR 525. Drug paraphernalia was found during a traffic stop. The driver was ticketed.

Forgery, 1300 block of South St. Someone cashed fraudulent checks at a convenience store.

Deadly conduct, 3300 block of Old Tyler Rd. Officers arrested a person who shot at a vehicle.

Welfare check, 300 block of CR 6104. Deputies were dispatched to an address after getting a 911 call with no one on the line. When dispatchers called back, it went to voicemail. When deputies arrived at the address and talked to the phone’s owner, they were told “he ran over his phone a few days ago and that it’s broken. He advised he did not call 911 and everything was fine.”

Assault, 1900 block of Railroad St. A woman accused a person of forcibly stealing property from her and assaulting her in the process.

Arrests included: Taylor Errin Hart, 27, driving while intoxicated with a child passenger under 15; Kiana Janee Jimerson, 25, of Kilgore, failure to appear on a misdemeanor;

As of 9 a.m. Thursday, there were 246 inmates at the Nacogdoches County jail. According to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, the maximum population is 292.


Medical assists on Timberlake Street, Oak Hill Plaza Drive, Forest Ridge Drive, Pearl Street, Bostwick Street, Ridgeview Drive, and Pepper Mill.

Special incident on Martinsville Street.

Motor vehicle accident with injuries on North Street.
