Wanda Schabow Tucker

Wanda Schabow Tucker, 71, of Nacogdoches passed away on September 8, 2019 in Sherman, TX.

She was born on August 19, 1948, the daughter of Harold and Nancy Schabow. She graduated from Woden High School, and was married to Fred Tucker for 36 years until his passing in 2010. She was a real estate agent in Nacogdoches County for many years. In her spare time, Wanda enjoyed gardening, painting, and spending quality time with her close friends and family. 

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Linda Schabow; niece and nephew-in-law, Lacey and Cole Parmer, niece and nephew-in-law, Kandi and Brad Horn; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jamison Alexander; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Laura and Timmy Kenner; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Charles Mitchell; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Billy Perry; grandchildren Ashlyn, Katelyn, and Tristan Alexander; Amy Coonts, Emily White, Claire Rammel; Janie Garner; Jacob Perry, Jordan Vardeman as well as her great (and a great-great) grandchildren.

An informal graveside ceremony will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Nacogdoches on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Wanda by making an online donation to www.campsweeney.org. Camp Sweeney is a summer camp designed for children with type-1 diabetes.

An informal graveside ceremony will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Nacogdoches on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.
