A visitation for Doris Colleen Park will be held from 11:00am – 1:00pm on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Laird Funeral Home. Mrs. Park passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in Nacogdoches. She was born on March 8, 1926 in Houston, Texas.

Colleen was a very devoted and loving lady who spent her lifetime serving others. Her nursing career spanned her lifetime and she enjoyed helping those who needed her most. Her family was of utmost importance to her and she loved with her whole heart. She always checked on those closest to her and was determined to ensure all was well with each of them. Colleen loved her Lord and Savior and spent many years telling His story while teaching Sunday school. She will be missed but her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on through the ones she loved the most.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Rhonda Campbell of Nacogdoches and Kenneth Fuller and wife, Carmen of Woodburn, Oregon; great grandchildren, Ryan Campbell and wife, Linda of Houston, Reagan Campbell of Houston, Reese Campbell and wife, Amanda of Nacogdoches, Stephanie Darcy and husband, Brad of Salem, Oregon and Jessica Biglieri and husband, Tony of Reno, Nevada; 9 great great grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Gray of Houston and Buddy Reneau and husband, Marie of Garrison. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including Marilyn Swick of Garrison.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Wayne W. Polk and Gene Park; daughter, Sue Nell Read; son, James O’Neal Brice; sister, Janet Stokes; and brothers, JW Reneau, Billy Reneau, Robby “Duck” Reneau and Jack Reneau.
