My family is very into Hallmark movies. We watch them in July when Hallmark does “Christmas in July,” and we watch them again when they come back in late October.

My mom has a blanket and a sweatshirt with the “This is my Hallmark Christmas movie watching blanket/sweatshirt.” We watch them every year, and we love them every year. Now I know that they aren’t exactly the most unpredictable, cinematically crazy movies. Two cisgender straight white people meet, become friends, there’s snow, a giant Christmas tree, they kiss and live happy ever after. Every movie is the same, or at least has been so far.

Anyone who truly believes that same-sex marriages are normal will buy ocean side property in Arizona. I won't be buying any more cards at Hallmart and this family will not buy any more cards at their store.
