Happy Father’s Day to all of you dads, granddads, uncles and significant men in the lives of many children, sons, daughters and others, a simple thank you just does not seem enough. God makes it clear for the husband to be the servant-leader of his home and to imitate Christ.

Dads and Moms alike hopefully are spiritual leaders for their children. First and foremost parents must have a strong connection to our Heavenly Father to lead effectively and must maintain an intimate relationship with the Lord. So, if you have your dad here or a grandfather, or a man who has been influential in your life be sure you give him a call today.

Pray for him especially today and every day. Happy “Heavenly” Father’s day to my daddy, and to Bill, my husband and daddy to our children; how blessed our family is that you lead us to know Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Happy Father Day to you God. We all are so blessed to have a true, protective father that loves us without fail. The only condition you have is to believe you have sent your son who died for us. Even then, you love each and every one of us, sometimes waiting for us to submit to you and your teaching so we will be saved for eternity. Thank you for your design of the family, the father and mother who love, teach and minster to their children. I pray that all families are more than just folks who are related and have the same bloodline. May we all know we are a members of your family and that we all are brothers and sister of Christ. Amen.

Case management: We met with four different families this week. However, one of the clients we met has never asked for help before. Having to request assistance was difficult and humbling, it bothered her to the point of tears. This client is a single mother of several children, requesting utility assistance and furniture. She is currently unemployed, but has a job interview lined up. Her need is valid. She has an injured back, and the sofa the family has is completely worn out. It is difficult for her to get comfortable when sitting, and even more difficult to get up and out of the sofa.

Our home visit volunteers often find people, who once they start sharing their story with us, the pain and heartache come spewing out in waves of emotion they often cannot stop. For many of them, they either have not shared their situation with family and friends, or family and friends have abandoned them. When our home visit teams show up, genuinely willing to listen, pray and offering encouragement and hope, the clients are overwhelmed by some of the smallest gestures of Christ’s love. We say it regularly, but it is truly an honor to serve God’s people and help meet needs. Thank you for your support of God’s ministries.

Also, this is a notice calling on all previous volunteers and new volunteers who would like to join us as we plan this event. We have volunteers repurposing furniture already. Email Debbie, our volunteer coordinator at Debbie@loveincnac.org

Using our post office box is the safer and most secure way to send us a check. P.O. Box 630423, Nacogdoches, Texas 75963.

Another very secure way is by PayPal on our website www.loveincnac.org. It is also helpful for you to designate your gifts. Writing on the memo line will designate your wishes. Write: “wherever needed most” will allow us to decide. This is just helpful to us, not required.
