Trailing at the half for the first time in their 10 Southland Conference contests this season, the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks, who had played just one game in the past 22 days, exploded for 55 second-half points to roll over the Central Arkansas Sugar Bears, 82-59, to close in in the league championship Monday afternoon in William R. Johnson Coliseum.

SFA (18-2, 10-0 SLC), who continues to hover near the AP Top 25 and is No. 17 in the NET Rankings, while being ranked No. 1 in several NCAA statistical categories, came alive after trailing 30-27 at the break against UCA by hitting 53.8% (7-of-13) from the field in the third quarter and a red-hot 71.4% (15-of-21) in the fourth as the Ladyjacks caught fire and outscored the Sugar Bears (8-12, 6-6 SLC) by 26 points in the final 20 minutes.
