Coming off what is arguably the biggest win in the university’s history with a victory over No. 1-ranked Duke on Tuesday, the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks will try avoid a letdown Saturday when they battle Sun Belt Conference member Arkansas State University on the road. The Ladyjacks will also be in action this weekend, participating in the Nugget Tournament in Reno, Nev., today and Sunday.

The Ladyjacks (2-2), who will be out to end a two-game losing skid, will play UC-Santa Barbara today at 6:30 p.m. to start play in the tourney. Today’s game will be aired on nevadawolfpack.com/sports.

The ’Jacks (5-1), who defeated the top-ranked Blue Devils (6-1), 85-83, in overtime on a last-second layup by senior Nathan Bain, will be out to knock off a Red Wolf team that is currently 5-1 on the year and riding a four-game winning streak. SFA is currently riding the national wave of attention after scoring 64 points in the paint and forcing 22 Duke turnovers.
