FAIRFIELD — The Garrison Bulldogs weren’t exactly hitting on all cylinders Friday night in their Class 2A DI Area matchup against Holland. And when standout two-way starter, senior lineman Garner Hancock, went down with an elbow injury early in the second quarter it didn’t help matters.

But with standout play from Andy Marquez, Kevin Page and Shawn Holmes, the rest of the team picked up the slack and the Bulldogs moved to the third round of the Class 2A DI playoffs with a hard-fought 7-3 win over the Hornets at Eagle Stadium in Fairfield.
