The Nacogdoches Heat 10-and-Under Division team used the strong pitching arm of Brooklyn Wesley to keep the combined squad of Thunderstruck/Blaze under control most of the evening as she produced a no-hitter with nine strikeouts in a 10-1 win Monday in a Nacogdoches Youth Softball Association game at the Coy Simms Softball Complex.

Wesley worked her magic for three frames, fanning three batters in the first frame, two in the second and produced four strikeouts in the third frame as the Heat rolled to the victory. She allowed just two walks and an unearned run in the final frame.
